The Merida Big Trail has been a hit with the mountain bike press and trail riders alike. Bikeboard.cc confirmed that we 'nailed it', while MBR, IMB and many more confirmed that the Big Trail is firmly at the top of the trail hardtail game. Conversations between UK bike shops and Merida's German R & D team resulted in the development of a fun-packed and hugely capable bike. Trail bike geometry combined with a long travel 140mm fork and grippy 2.4" wide 29er trail tyres, make this the perfect companion for exciting trail sessions and demanding all-day rides over rough terrain. It's perfectly suited to UK riding. The modern trail bike geometry has a slack enduro inspired 65.5 deg head angle, steep seat angle and a long reach. A short seat tube delivers a low standover height giving plenty of space to manoeuvre on the bike when the trail gets technical, but still accommodates a long travel dropper post. The geometry means most sizes work for most body sizes so riding style can be factored in. The Big Trail has hidden talents, in addition to two sets of bottle bosses, there's a trail mount under the top tube allowing you to carry tools and extra gear on the bike. It's also possible to fit mudguards and a rack if you want to trek further afield.
Now your child's that little bit older, they need a bike that can handle everything they throw at it. Our Squish 24 is more than up to the job! Built to be as lightweight as possible, it's easy for your child to manoeuvre but don't let that make you think its fragile! Double wall alloy rims and the triple butted alloy frame ensure this bike will last the test of time and be raring to go the next day. The 140mm cranks, 32 tooth chainring and 11-32T Shimano cassette give your child all the gears they'll need whilst suiting their strength and leg length perfectly.

The ONE-TWENTY 400 is the entry level model of our more trail biased version, featuring 120 mm of FLOAT LINK rear travel and 130 mm of travel up front. It's the ideal machine for trail riders who are looking for a hugely capable frame package at a great price. This versatile trail bike is equally at home on more demanding tracks as it is at long, but perhaps less extreme days in the saddle. Completely redesigned for 2019, the ONE-TWENTY continues its success story into the 2022 season. With multiple test successes, including a 'BEST IN TEST' in Enduro Mountainbike Magazine for the 2020 ONE-TWENTY 8000, our mid-travel bike will once again impress with its versatility and unstoppable trail munching capabilities. While very much a trail bike at heart, the modern yet balanced trail bike geometry, paired with fantastic frame stiffness, created a mid-travel bike that is super capable on rough trails but also carries speed perfectly on less technically demanding tracks. And to give riders a maximum choice, we will offer the ONE-TWENTY again in the 'classic' 120 mm rear/130 mm front travel configuration or the slightly more XC biased 100 mm rear/120 mm front travel 'RC' setup, which also has a slightly steeper head angle and seat angle for improved climbing performance. This is a great 120mm travel full suspension mountain bike from Merida.
